Sunday, March 26, 2006 <3 my exam week....
ahhh tho past week (technically onli 3 days) wuz like block test fer mi, esther n i still manage to spend time tgt... feels so good to hav her around all the time... like an emotional support... hmmm i rmb particularly the mushroom pasta i made her on thur!!! haha i'm realli glad it turned out good despite my initial worries that it would be quite sucky hahaha... good food will nv taste as great without having a loved one to share wif, in this case being esther =) well that wuz probably the highlight of the whole week already cos our schedules r so different n also that we spent most of the time juz slacking... oh oh oh!! we watched engelbert live at london palladium on wed!!! it wuz so nice man, n she sang along to some songs which i didn't realli noe the lyrics but onli the tune, it wuz great nonetheless...
i feel that doing the same things alone and tgt wif a loved one means juz a world of a difference. take fer example pasta; i make different sorts of pasta all the time, but at the end of the day it juz turns out to be more or less, the same thing. but on thur, i found myself wanting to make it realli good, even wif my limit resources n time, and finally sharing the fruits of labour wif esther, that was juz all different from merely cooking because i have to feed myself (it turns out i'd rather go hungry in that case hahahaha). well it's juz different to cook for someone you love n hold so dear to your heart.
and also, watching that engelbert dvd. fer a person who lacks sufficient knowledge and knows limited oldies like mi, watching that dvd alone (or wif my godfather) was realli rather boring, besides some parts which is quite upbeat (come on, give him some credit, dancing so hard despite hitting 70 years of age alr). watching it wif esther that day was a totalli different experience, i was able to get engaged along wif her, who sang along n stuffs, n by the end of it, it seemed to both of us tt we can't get enuff of it.
the experience itself was juz suprisingly stark, more than i could ever imagine. it is not the activity itself i'm sure, it is who we do it wif which makes a universe of difference to every action. ahhh once again, thanx esther fer adding so much colour to my once mundane and bland life. i love you =)
